Below is one of my first more convincing attempts. I drew her off the top of my head so if she resembles you or anyone you know there was no intention on my part, she is purely a figment of my imagination. I thought I would publish this attempt just to show you that I am practising what I preach and also to prove that if you practice you will make progress.

You have probably noticed that her lower lip looks too large and appears to be twisting to the left of her face. Also, her eyes and nose need some work and there is little definition to her overall look. Her ear looks wrong but Like you I am learning and hope to get better.
